I sure am glad these are waterproof! My boyfriend got these to take out on the boat with us, and I dropped them in the lake. I thought my boyfriend was going to kill me! We scooped them out of the water and they're fine, they work great. I was very relieved!
I'm not a birdwatching or a binoculars expert. I just wanted to see the birds in my back yard so I got these. My only complaint is that the focus knob is very hard to turn. I don't know if it's supposed to be that way. I'm hoping it loosens up with use.
The description makes these things sound a lot better than they are. The plastic feels cheap, and I feel like if I dropped them, they'd break apart. I may just sell them and get something better.
