The Barska 7x50WP WRC DEEP SEA binoculars feature an internal range-finding reticle and directional compass for navigation. Specially designed for nautical use, these heavy-duty binoculars have shockproof, non-slip ergonomic rubber armor for a secure grip. They are O-ring-sealed to be 100% waterproof and dry-nitrogen-purged and sealed to prevent internal fogging, clouding, and moisture damage. 7x magnification allows for the steadiest images possible in rough sea conditions, and a large 50mm objective lens provides maximum light transmission. BAK-4 prisms with porro lenses and fully multi-coated optics ensure crisp, clear imaging. These binoculars are perfect for the beginning or experienced mariner. Carrying case and neck strap are included for easy portability.

    I'd say these are about average. I've had better binoculars, and worse ones, but I paid more for the worse ones than I did for these, so I guess they're not that bad. Best thing is that they're waterproof.

    I've had more expensive binoculars that didn't provide such clear images as these do. The lens coatings really make a noticeable difference. The focus knob is in sort of an inconvenient spot, but they're still great binoculars.
