Ok, these are expensive binoculars, but they are worth it! I use them with a tripod most of the time, but it's not really necessary (other than not wanting to hold them for long periods) because the image stabilization is excellent. Well worth the expense.
They work great, give very clear views, but they're heavy to hold for very long. I'll probably have to get a harness for them. Other than that, they're really good.
