Nikon Premier LXL Binoculars
Nikon Premier LXL binoculars were redesigned to offer all the features and quality of Nikon binoculars without the weight. They traded in an aluminum-alloy body for a magnesium-alloy one, taking away some of the heft—19 percent, to be exact. They're sought and recommended by some of the world's top birdwatchers, hunters, and optical experts. Despite being lightweight, they're still extremely rugged. They're also completely waterproof and fog proof.
Premier LXL binoculars contain lead- and arsenic-free Eco Glass, which is also lighter than standard leaded binocular glass, not to mention environmentally friendly. The rubber armor that covers the body is made from chloride-free vinyl, which is also a green option, and which provides an excellent gripping surface. Click-stop turn and slide eyecups are made from soft silicon rubber to block out peripheral light, and accommodate eyeglass wearers. Nikon Premier LXL binoculars come with objective and optical lens covers, and a neckstrap. All Nikon sport optics are covered by the company's 25-year limited warranty, and a no-fault repair/replacement policy.
