Heavily rubber-armored metal body, with brass 1/4-20 tripod adapter threading. Also includes right ocular diopter adjustment, Fujinon-style soft rubber ocular cover, attached soft rubber objective covers, rugged nylon case, and strap.

Includes the finest BAK4 prisms, fully coated optics throughout, and high-quality broadband multi-coated objectives. The bright, wide field of view makes these ideal for binocular astronomy. They are also excellent for general daylight usage, birding, and nautical applications. Both models offer a steady view without a tripod, but of course the 8x model is easiest to hand-hold. The high degree of eye relief and fold-down eyecups makes this model a great choice for those that wear eyeglasses.

    I bought of a set of these for birdwatching. They are a really comfortable binocular and I can use them with my glasses on. I like that they have a tripod mount so I can keep them steady while I do quick glassing with a smaller pair. A real bargain.
