I know you're supposed to buy binoculars for the prisms and lenses and magnification and all those specs, but to be honest, I just really liked the way this pair looks. It's an unusual design that stands out from most binoculars. Yeah, they work great and everything looks good through them. But mostly, they look cool!
The design of these binoculars makes them a little uncomfortable to hold for long periods, but they make up for it with crisp, clear images, and an affordable price. I probably wouldn't buy them if I had to do it over, but now I know Tasco is a quality brand so I can choose another model later on.
As far as roof prism binoculars go, these are about average. They're sold at a good price, though, so if you're a beginner, they can be a good buy. If you're a more experienced user, though, I'd get a different pair.
