    I can see why the Coast Guard recommends these! They're great! I even tested them out to make sure they were waterproof. No leakage whatsoever. Love that they come with a case and strap, too. Thanks!

    These binoculars themselves aren't recommended by the Coast Guard, only their specs are. But the binoculars leave a lot to be desired. They could have put those great specs into a better package, but instead they're cheap. Don't bother.
